Once again it looks like the Big One Man Band will have yet another song in a film! The theme song for the traveling museum (see the February 28th installment below) may just end up in a film about roadside attractions and world's largest things. More info as soon as I get it! Go to the Music page and listen to the theme song!

The one man band documentary, "Let Me Be Your Band" was shown at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto last May with about 650 people turning out to view the screening! Other screenings are in Minneapolis at the Sound Unseen Film Festival during the month of September and will possibly be shown at the Calgary International Film Festival in Calgary. Stay tuned for more screenings! (see November 2002 news installment to see BOMB's involvement in this film)

BOMB recently completed a very low-fi theme song for a traveling roadside museum. Here is a blurb about it taken from the Worlds Largest Things website which you should check out as soon as possible! It is pretty dang cool (if not a little insane!). To hear the theme song click here.

The World's Largest Collection of the World's Smallest Versions of the World's Largest Things Traveling Roadside Attraction and Museum is an interactive mobile environment devoted to the exploration and celebration of World's Largest Things. This one of a kind roadside attraction and museum travels all over the country, stopping at World's Largest Things, community cultural centers, roadside attractions, colleges, universities, art events, and museums. When traveling down the road, the curtains act as a carnival-esque tease like an old-time sideshow, complete with theme song and barker broadcast on a 103.1 FM frequency so cars around can tune in their radio and learn more about it.

Chicago's One Man Band Festival went really well and was a blast even though I was not able to stay the whole weekend. Unfortunately/fortunately I was scheduled to play in Indianapolis, Indiana the following night. I will post photos as soon as I figure out how to do it.

BOMB has three songs (o.k. it is really two and a half) in the Canadian one man band documentary, "Let Me Be Your Band". They are Blam, Corn Shuckin' and the beginnings of This Durn Band Ain't Getting Me Laid. The United States debut showing was October 3rd in Chicago at the Chicago Cultural Center. If you ever get a chance to see this hilarious film on one man bands DO IT!
